Network Sentry Earns Five-Star Rating in Group Test

Concord, NH – Bradford Networks, the best choice for network security in evolving IT environments, announced today that SC Magazine named the company’s Network Sentry™ the overall “Best Buy” in its Group Test for “Access Management: Network Access Control,” and also bestowed a prestigious five-star overall rating on the product. The review appeared in the September 1, 2010 issue of SC Magazine. Bradford has now earned SC Magazine’s “Best Buy” rating for two straight years, 2009 and 2010.

Bradford’s Network Sentry addresses the network security challenges posed by today’s complex threat environment and the operational demands security enforcement places on IT. The SC Magazine “Best Buy” rating is awarded to the product that the reviewers rate as “outstanding.” During the Group Test, several vendors’ solutions were reviewed and rated. Bradford achieved an overall five-star rating, and five stars for five out of the six categories: Features, Ease of Use, Performance, Documentation, Support, and Value for the Money.

Network Sentry’s flexibility, out-of-the-box functionality, and depth and breadth of solution were called out throughout the review. Its ease-of-management and configuration tools were described as, “great device-discovery tools with the ability to phase in protection; nice guest and sponsor-based access tools.” Additionally, the Network Sentry user interface was described as “mature and provides easy navigation options to quickly switch between views.”
