Bradford Networks Collaborates with Aruba Networks to Develop Aruba Endpoint Compliance System
Extends Aruba's NAC capabilities with advanced identity,
endpoint, and policy tools
Concord, NH – Aug 24, 2007 –
Bradford Networks, a leading provider of comprehensive network
access control (NAC) solutions, announced today that it has
worked with Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), a global
leader in user-centric networks and secure mobility solutions,
to develop advanced technology that extends Aruba’s
existing NAC capabilities. This collaboration resulted in
the new Endpoint Compliance System (ECS) that Aruba will market,
sell, and support worldwide.
Since delivering its first NAC products in
2002, Bradford Networks has been a leader in out-of-band NAC
solutions that leverage existing network infrastructure to
secure network integrity and automate network access control.
“The introduction of mobile users into
a network environment requires a means to ensure that only
authorized users can gain access. Aruba’s new ECS appliance,
co-developed by Bradford, works with Aruba’s per-user
stateful firewall technology to create an integrated security
infrastructure that verifies identity and enforces policies
across both wireless and wireline networks,” said Mike
Gadoury, Bradford Networks founder and CEO. “The work
with Aruba has resulted in an advanced NAC solution that is
ideal for mobile users. The combined solution manages identity,
enforces network usage policy, and maintains corporate standards
for endpoint compliance.”
