Bradford Networks Doubles Annual Bookings
With More Than 100 New Customers Worldwide
Education, Health Care and Government Sectors Power Growth
for Network Access Control
Concord, NH – July 31, 2007 – Bradford
Networks, a leading provider of comprehensive network access
control (NAC) solutions, announced today that the company doubled
bookings in fiscal 2007, driven by continued strong Campus
Manager sales to the education market coupled with new growth
in enterprise mark ets driven by the debut of NAC Director.
With more than
100 new customers during the past 12 months, a record for the
company, Bradford won accounts in education, health care, financial
services, government, military, and real estate, including
Cornell University, Elmira College, Sarah Lawrence College,
Cardiff University, Southampton University Hospital NHS Trust
and Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. New education accounts
encompassed a wide range of institutions around the world,
including large universities, Ivy League schools, community
colleges, boarding schools, and K-12 school districts.
Bradford’s NAC technology gives administrators
highly flexible tools to control network access based on identity,
ensuring that only authorized users can log into the n etwork
and unauthorized users can’t bypass security systems
by moving machines or changing the type of connection.
An expanded network of sophisticated VARS and integrators
contributed significantly to Bradford’s growth. During
the fiscal year, Bradford tripled its number of authorized
resellers worldwide, adding such notable U.S. and European
partners as Accuvant, FishN et Security, ePlus Technology,
Bristol Group and Advnet. These new channels will contribute
significantly to customer and revenue growth in coming years.
Matt Bossom, Director of Wireless Solutions
at nationwide security consultant Accuvant, said " Bradford's
NAC solutions
deliver the advanced identity management and policy enforcement
needed for effective security in an out-of-band architecture
that leverages current network equipment. It’s
the NAC solution we need to satisfy our demanding clients."
“For performance and flexibility,
customers around the globe are demanding NAC solutions that
they can deploy now and that work seamlessly with their existing
infrastructure,” said
Mike Gadoury, Bradford Networks founder and CEO.“ Bradford’s
technology delivers solutions for today’s business problems:
Network access control for every network connection – wired,
wireless, or VPN.”
Additionally, Bradford and Stonesoft Corp.
this month launched a joint marketing agreement. Bradford’s
NAC technology is ideally suited to automatically act on alerts
based on information from the deep packet inspection of Stonesoft’s
StoneGate intrusion prevention system ( IPS) offering.
