'Network Sentry' Server Line
Enhanced control and application
servers enable policy enforcement
Concord, N.H. – May 9, 2005 –Bradford
Networks, developer of Security and Policy Solutions for
Enterprise Networks, today announced the introduction of
two new Network Sentry server appliances as part of our complete
Campus Manager solution.
The new server combination provides the
hardware foundation for our industry leading management solution,
which addresses network security management, access control
management, and usage policy management. These high-end servers
scale to support up to 6000 users per pair. Multiple pairs
can be deployed to meet the requirements of the largest enterprises.
The two new servers are:

Sentry 1200 |

This server functions
as the central control engine for the Campus Manager
solution. The device handles control functions such
as, MAC-based address mapping, security assessment,
VLAN assignment, network device communications, bandwidth
monitoring, and user connection database. |

Sentry 8200 |
|
This server executes applications
such as authentication, registration, security vulnerability,
remediation and disciplinary actions. The server has
several embedded network services, which include a
DHCP server, DNS server, web server, and Nessus engine. |

Campus Manager easily scales to fit the needs of all environments.
Licenses begin with 1000 users and increment to support large
enterprise networks. Additional licenses can be purchased
at any time to allow a seamless upgrade path as network requirements
warrant.
The Network Sentry 1200 Network Control Server and the Network
Sentry 8200 Advanced Applications Server are preconfigured
and shipped standard with our entire software feature set
enabled.
