NAC Pioneer Earns Top Score in Overall Strategy and Revenue Growth

Concord, N.H. – Bradford Networks, an award-winning provider of comprehensive network access control (NAC) solutions, was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in its September 2008 Forrester Wave: Network Access Control, Q3 2008. In the evaluation, Bradford was cited as a Leader, the top category in the report.

In Forrester’s first-ever Wave report on Network Access Control, Bradford claimed the number one score in overall strategy and recorded the high score in revenue growth. Said the report, “Bradford has pushed into the enterprise space with one of the most scalable overlay solutions.”

The Wave report evaluated ten NAC vendors on 73 criteria, measuring strategy, current product offerings and market presence. The Wave report also looked at 12 key NAC scenarios designed to be applicable to customer deployments, with Bradford registering the second highest overall scenario score.

In designating Bradford’s NAC solution a Leader, Forrester recognized Bradford’s offerings: “NAC Director leverages existing network devices such as routers and switches to perform enforcement, which highlights Bradford’s greatest strength, its ease of deployment.”

Key findings in the Wave report also include:

• “Bradford has the best all-around support for third-party infrastructure.”
• “Bradford has one of the strongest road maps, which focuses on emerging NAC scenarios for virtualization and identity management.”
