With the diversification of both student and faculty devices, CUSD selected Network Sentry to enforce security policy compliance on employee mobile devices and to build a secure pathway for students to connect their consumer devices to the network.

With almost 40,000 students and 4,600 staff members, most of whom own mobile devices that need network connectivity, the school district needed a solution that would enable it to see exactly who and what was connecting to its network. CUSD implemented Network Sentry to gain complete visibility on all the devices connecting to its network, ensuring that each user and their device was authorized and complied with CUSD’s network security requirements before gaining access.

The network visibility afforded by Network Sentry will enable Chandler Unified School District to allow for the introduction of student and faculty-owned mobile devices, tablets and laptops onto its network.
