Description
The Customer Support Engineer provides customer support
and professional services on Bradford Networks Network Access
Control (NAC) solution for institutional, enterprise and government
markets. This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated
customer-centric individual to work in a multi-tiered support
team. Must be able to travel up to 50%. Position is based in
Concord, NH.
Responsibilities
The Customer Support Engineer’s responsibilities
will include the following:

Troubleshoot customer issues both over the phone and in person
-
Ability to prioritize customer needs and respond appropriately
-
Deliver and validate solutions to customer requests and issues
-
Product installation, configuration and implementation at customer location(s)
-
Collaborate with Engineering and champion the customer needs for product enhancements
and issue resolution

Sales and Reseller post sales support
-
Integration testing
-
Quality Assurance testing
Qualifications
-
Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical customer support and service
-
Ability to present technical information to both technical / non-technical audience
-
Strong technical and analytical skills
Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years customer support/service in networking specifically switching
and routing, operating systems Unix/Linux and Windows, and network services specifically
DHCP, DNS, Apache and Tomcat.

Troubleshooting skills are a must

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems
or other applicable discipline or equivalent experience
