Description
High growth security start-up seeks a Software
Quality Assurance Lead with a minimum of 5 years documented
application testing experience. The QA Leader is responsible
for managing and expanding the QA staff, schedule product
testing, regression testing and overseeing the creation of
test plans. The QA Leader is also responsible for selection
of test tools, implementation and maintains of the systems.
This position requires a leadership experience, technical
ability and customer support expertise. Duties include writing
reviews, assign responsibility to QA personnel, documentation
of test tools and procedures.
Responsibilities

Manage work schedules of QA team

Participate in development projects and continually improve testing process

Coordinate integration and system testing activities
-
Document and execute test cases
-
Use feedback from Support and customers to improve test cases
-
Prioritize defect tickets, work with Software Developers to reproduce and solve
the issues

Track resolved and unresolved tickets to evaluate release readiness. Supply details
for Release Notes

Review internal and product documentation for content and accuracy

Conducting job interviews

Writing employee evaluations
Engineering Qualifications
-
Prior experience in selection and use of automated test tools is required.

Knowledge of Apple, Linux and Windows operating systems
-
General understanding of networking design and implementation
-
Good writing and communication skills, with great attention to details

Experience with software projects with focus on testing
The ideal candidate will have
-
BSCS or BSEE degree and/or equivalent
-
3+ years experience in software testing
-
Demonstrated experience in project management
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills
-
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex problems
-
Experienced working on large Java applications
-
Travel may be required
