Michael Gadoury
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mike Gadoury is the founder and Chief Executive
Officer of Bradford Networks and provides the strategic direction
and senior leadership to grow the company’s revenue and
market share and establish Bradford as the leader in the network
access control marketplace. Mike’s professional background
includes 8 years as a Software Architect in the Professional
Services Group at Cabletron Systems, where he architected and
developed custom software network management solutions for
the enterprise market.
John Bullock
Managing Partner, Windspeed Ventures
John is a founder and the Managing Partner
of Windspeed Ventures, a Boston-area based early stage venture
firm that actively helps build high technology companies in
the communications, security, media and internet services industries.
Prior to Windspeed, John held Senior Management and Engineering
Positions in Bay Networks, Wellfleet Communications, and Motorola/Codex.
The Windspeed team consists of former entrepreneurs whose goal
is to share their relevant operating experience in building
value in early stage businesses.
Harry Ruda
Independent Director
Mr. Ruda's career spans over thirty years
in the information and communications technology marketplace.
Mr. Ruda co-founded Softricity as its CEO in June, 1999 and
has continued in that role until March, 2006, when he assumed
the role of Chairman. In April, Softricity agreed to be acquired
by Microsoft and the transaction completed in July.
Prior to Softricity, Mr. Ruda was President
and CEO of ITS, a manufacturer of video access equipment for
IP and ATM networks. Mr. Ruda also co-founded and was VP Sales
and Marketing for a VC-backed start-up, Network Switching Systems,
a manufacturer of integrated voice and data switching equipment
which was later acquired by BBN Communications.
Mr. Ruda serves on several private company
boards as an Independent Director and also sits on several
Advisory Boards for early stage companies.
Carter Griffin
Partner, Updata Partners
Carter Griffin is a Partner at Updata Partners
in the Reston, Virginia office and joined the firm in early
2005.
Prior to joining Updata Partners, Mr. Griffin co-founded
Brivo Systems in 1999 and served as Chairman and CEO until
selling the company to a unit of Duchossois Enterprises Group
in December 2004. Brivo Systems pioneered the software-as-a-service
model in the physical security market by introducing the first-ever on-demand
system for facility access control. During his tenure at Brivo, Mr. Griffin raised
over $30 million in multiple rounds of equity and debt financing from venture
capitalists, strategic partners and angel investors.
Before starting Brivo Systems, Mr. Griffin spent four years
as a Senior Vice President at Kaiser Associates, where he advised
Fortune 500 clients on competitive positioning and new-market
entry strategies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Griffin worked
in London for the Coca-Cola Company and held positions at American
Management Systems and Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Griffin holds a B.S. in business administration
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an
M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate
School of Management at Northwestern University.
