CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – December 11, 2012 – Bradford Networks, the best choice to enable secure network access for corporate issued and personal mobile devices, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the 2012 “Magic Quadrant for Network Access Control1.” The report analyzes the evolution of the Network Access Control (NAC) market and evaluates its vendors according to their business and technology vision, as well as their ability to execute against that vision in their products and services.
According to the report, “Gartner estimates that the size of the NAC market in 2012 will be approximately $240 million, an increase of approximately 17% over the market in 2011. The mobility and bring your own device (BYOD) trends have increased demand, and the largest NAC suppliers have seen strong increases in growth. Driven by these trends, we expect market growth of approximately 63% in 2013, with approximate revenue of $390 million as businesses are spending on mobile device management (MDM) and NAC as the primary means for meeting demand for use of personally owned smartphones and tablets, while containing risk.”

Bradford Networks announced several strategic technology relationships during 2012, including integrations with Aerohive, Airwatch, Brocade, FireEye, Fortinet, HP, Meru Networks, Motorola Solutions, Palo Alto Networks, Ruckus Wireless, Sourcefire and RSA NetWitness, which it believes contributed to its “Visionary” status. Each of these partnerships strengthened the company’s mission to deliver a complete BYOD Blueprint, a holistic approach that addresses BYOD’s unique set of challenges by combining the benefits of mobility, security and MDM solutions with NAC.
Additionally, over the past year, Bradford Networks continued to enhance its Network Sentry solution, focusing on automation, enhanced platform coverage, and integration with leading security solutions. The Company also launched the Bradford Networks Mobile Agent App, the first App that enables secure network access for trusted iPads, iPhones and other Apple devices. In September, Bradford announced the release of Network Sentry/Analytics, the first cloud-based service offering to analyze long-term network access data and deliver actionable reports. This offering enables companies to plan and develop the right BYOD strategies to meet their continually evolving security, compliance, and business needs.
During 2012, Bradford Networks also significantly grew its worldwide distribution channels adding Azlan, (part of the Tech Data Group), Connector Systems, Converged Solutions, HP, Integralis, Siracom, Zycko and others to its network.
