CAMBRIDGE, MA– Jul 6, 2012 – Bradford Networks, the best choice to enable secure network access for corporate issued and personal mobile devices, today announced that it has partnered with TDAzlan, part of the Tech Data Corporation and the leading distributor of enterprise networking, server, storage, and software solutions.
Through the partnership, TDAzlan will deliver high-quality network and mobile security solutions to a large distribution channel of HP Resellers. TDAzlan’s extensive distribution channel will increase Bradford’s presence within the European region, allowing both companies to meet the growing demand for security solutions to address the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) trend.
“With the rapid adoption of BYOD, Bradford’s solutions put us in a unique position to offer the most comprehensive security portfolio on the market,” said Nigel Dunn, director of HP business unit, TDAzlan UK. “Companies are increasingly looking for increased visibility and control of the mobile devices on their networks, and our partnership with Bradford puts us at the forefront of delivering the strongest level of network protection in the enterprise.”
The partnership enables Bradford to have access to TDAzlan’s HP reseller channel, where Bradford’s network access control (NAC) and mobile security solutions will be distributed. In addition, TDAzlan will distribute the Mobile Security Suite, an easy-to-use workflow wizard that simplifies the deployment of both Bradford and HP Networking products, providing organizations with a best-of-breed solution for enabling secure network access in a BYOD environment.
“Bradford is a critical component of our solution set to address the BYOD and mobile security challenges organizations face,” said Nick Watson, vice president of HP networking EMEA. “We’ve experienced impressive momentum with the BYOD Mobile Security Suite developed with Bradford, and we look forward to further developing this relationship.”
Bradford Networks’ Network Sentry product provides organizations with greater visibility and tighter control of IT policy, allowing employees access to the company network through both corporate issued and personal mobile devices. Network Sentry creates a profiled view of all devices on the network and ensures secure and monitored access. IT departments can track and monitor individual devices and use real-time and historical data to make informed decisions about network security and usage.
“We’ve experienced tremendous success and momentum in the European market, as the demand for comprehensive network security solutions is increasing significantly,” said Dan Haley, CEO of Bradford Networks. “Our partnership with HP Networking has been a victory since day one and we look forward to tapping into TDAzlan’s existing relationships to continue to address the BYOD challenges organizations face in this region.”
