New Feature Announcement:

Campus Manager now provides the ability to scan client computers and network servers for virus vulnerabilities at client registration time, and also 'on demand' at the discretion of the Campus Manager administrator.

With the ability to run one or more customer provided scripts against each client computer, Campus Manager will identify all client machines and servers that fail the script. If enabled by the administrator, upon failure, Campus Manager will switch the client into the administrator defined 'Quarantine VLAN'. Ports must be in the ''Unregistered Client VLAN Port Switching Group" for this VLAN switch to take place. An event will be generated for each script run for each client. These events can be mapped to alarms and the alarms can be mapped to actions using the existing alarm mapping interface

A Security Status View is now available that provides the following:
Total number of clients tested
Total number of clients failed
List of all client scanned with icon representation of pass / fail
Ability to enable / disable client scanning
Ability to set a Quarantine VLAN
Clear Client List button which will force all clients to be retested next time they connect to the network

The Security Plugin can be configured to apply one or many scripts. The Security Scripts tab displays the currently selected scripts. Scripts can be added or removed from this view.

The script will then be displayed in the Security Scripts tab

Script requirements:
The script must take the client IP address as the first argument.
The script has to print a '0' for success or a '1' for failure.

Example:
   rcpscan 192.168.10.91
