DHCP Application Server Management is the periodic verification of authorized DHCP
servers and the detection of unauthorized DHCP servers in the network.

In a flat network Campus Manager will use a single network interface to communicate
with the network devices and DHCP servers.

In a multi-VLAN network Campus Manager will use a second network interface and
switch the port connected to the second interface to the VLAN to test. This process
is repeated for each VLAN to be tested for DHCP servers.

Campus Manager uses DHCP Discovery to test for DHCP servers.

The results from the discovery generate the following events:

1) Detected "device" in the managed topology has an invalid DHCP server application
2) Detected "client" has an invalid DHCP server application
3) Detected "unknown physical address" has an invalid DHCP server application
4) Detected valid "DHCP server" is not responding
5) Verified valid "DHCP server" application is responding

Alarms are generated from the first four events.
